Wind Energy and Wind Parks is Topic at Chamber Networking Lunch on Thursday, January 26, 11:30 am, Brookshire Inn, Williamston – Chris Thelen of Consumers Energy will speak on the construction of its first wind park near Ludington, which is scheduled to be operational by the end of this year. The company is also making plans for a second wind park on the east side of the state. He will share details about the state’s first utility-owned wind park as well as the company’s strategy to have 10 percent of its electric generating capacity from renewable energy.
